Are Expectations Around 24/7 Availability Getting Too High For Airlines?

What counted as excellent a few years ago can become normal surprisingly fast. Should a good experience with 24/7 availability now be treated as a basic standard for airlines?

Expectations are also different depending on price, urgency and how complicated the problem is.
