Review Guidelines ✍️

Reviews should describe genuine experiences and help other people make informed decisions.

Reviews must be based on a genuine experience

Post only about a business, product or service you genuinely interacted with. Do not invent transactions, impersonate another person, post on behalf of someone without a legitimate basis, or coordinate reviews to manipulate a rating.

Be specific and fair

Describe what happened in your own words. Distinguish facts from opinions. Avoid threats, harassment, hate, doxxing, irrelevant personal attacks, confidential information and content whose primary purpose is abuse rather than consumer information.

Conflicts of interest

Employees, owners, competitors, paid promoters and others with a material conflict should not present themselves as independent customers. Incentivized reviews must never be conditioned on a positive rating.

Evidence may be requested

If a review is credibly disputed, we may ask for private supporting information showing that a genuine experience occurred. Examples can include receipts, order confirmations, correspondence or other relevant records. Sensitive information should be minimized or redacted where possible.

Editing and deletion

Reviewers can normally request a secure email link to edit or delete their own review. Material edits may return a review to moderation. If ORP issues an active integrity finding after a dispute/evidence review, editing and deletion may be temporarily locked so the public moderation record cannot be erased; an available appeal process may still be used.
