Is It Reasonable To Expect Star Ratings From Reviews Of Public Figures Now?

Standards change quickly. Has the bar for star ratings reached the point where people should expect a good experience with it from reviews of public figures?

The same review policy can feel protective to one side and unfair to the other, which makes these trade-offs worth debating.
