Warren Buffett is more than one of the most successful investors in history—he is a true legend of wisdom, patience, discipline, and long-term thinking.
What makes Buffett extraordinary is not simply the enormous wealth he created, but the principles behind his success. For decades, he has demonstrated that intelligence does not need arrogance, wealth does not need extravagance, and extraordinary achievement does not require abandoning common sense or personal discipline. His remarkably straightforward approach to investing—understand what you are buying, think independently, avoid unnecessary risk, and allow time to work in your favor—has educated generations of investors around the world.
I especially admire the consistency between Buffett's public philosophy and the way he has chosen to live.
